Hi, my name is Elisa Cucco, I was born on April 22, 1982 in Padua, and I am a web designer & developer.
At present I collaborate with some Italian web agencies and graphic studios, including Byweb Srl, Engimedia Sas and Studio Solano. Moreover, I have acquired some important personal customers, like the Cassa di Risparmio of Padua and Rovigo Foundation, Marcolongo Advertising, and many others.
Last year I collaborated with Pagusmedia, a web agency located in Vicenza, which has customers such as Maserati, Fini Modena, Conserve della Nonna.

MY PHILOSOPHY

A good site is made not only of a good design. It must be based on usability and accessibility, it must be search-engine friendly and the design must be related to the contents. Moreover, the code should be W3C valid.
Whenever I create a new website, I try to follow these fundamental guidelines, and I do my best to make my site accessible to all users, regardless of browser, operating system, installed plug-in, physical disability. To do that, I always try to keep up to date on the best techniques, and the new possible solutions.


A LITTLE STORY

Since 1998, when I bought my first Personal Computer, I felt in love with the Web.
In 2001 I created my first homepage, now offline, where I could experiment new HTML solutions. The design was awful, the code was a disaster: the road to web designing was so long!

So I began to study and to improve my Web Design knowledge. I started to use Photoshop and Illustrator, and code editors like Dreamweaver.
Last but not least, I began to use only valid XHTML/CSS and PHP.

Finally, I was ready for professional collaborations, so I worked for a while with A.F.L.A.N., a software house, and I developed some website.

Bu my first real job arrived with Ferrari S.r.l., which contacted me for the realization of multimedial contents for their website. I realized for them also a brochure and a newsletter.

While I keep on studying, I saw an announcement by the web agency Pagusmedia, which was searching for a Web Designer. I had the job.
This collaboration improved my skills, and I had the opportunity to collaborate with web professionists, such as Paola Michielin of Studio Solano, and Luca Reghellin.

Finally I found my first customer. So I left Pagusmedia, and I started my own business. At present I keep on working with some web agencies, and I take care of my customers!
I keep me up to date with books and forums, because in our work it's very important to be in step with the new techniques and trends!
